Direct answers. No fluff.

What is Rocket Yoga?

Rocket Yoga is a high-intensity, structured modification of traditional Ashtanga Yoga. Created by Larry Schultz in the 1980s, it breaks the rigid rules of traditional Ashtanga to give practitioners immediate access to advanced inversions and backbends, rapidly accelerating physical progression.

Do I need experience? Can beginners attend?

You do not need to be an expert yogi, but you need grit. If you are entirely new to this type of movement, we mandate starting with the Rocket Foundations class. Our flow classes are intense, but they are scalable.

How is Rocket different from Vinyasa?

Vinyasa flows change every single class depending on the instructor. Rocket is a fixed system. You will do the same sequence every time. This repetition is a feature, not a bug; it allows you to truly measure your strength and mobility progress over time without the distraction of learning a new choreography.

What should I bring?

A high-quality yoga mat (we recommend grippy mats like Liforme or Manduka), a towel (you will sweat heavily), and water. Leave your ego at the door. We do not provide mat rentals.

What should I expect in the room?

Expect a loud room, electronic and rhythmic music, intense heat generated purely from body movement (we do not use artificial heaters), and a supportive community of serious athletes pushing their limits.
